Two hundred and fifty years ago, a new nation declared its independence and changed the world forever — and Bremont has created the perfect watch to honor that moment. The Terra Nova Jumping Hour 1776 is a limited edition of just 250 pieces, its rich blue grained dial dressed in the red, white and blue of the American flag, bearing ‘1776’ inscribed in the very handwriting style of Timothy Matlack, the man who penned the original Declaration of Independence. The hour jumps through a roulette disc at 9 o’clock with the precision and confidence of a nation that has never stopped pushing forward, while the engraved caseback celebrates the American spirit with an eagle soaring in full flight above a stars-and-stripes field, each piece individually numbered. Built from corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel with a 56-hour power reserve and water resistance to 100 metres, this is a watch worthy of the occasion it commemorates. Available on a steel bracelet at $4,600 or a blue textured strap at $4,300, the Terra Nova Jumping Hour 1776 is limited to just 250 pieces — a timepiece as rare and remarkable as the history it was made to celebrate.
